Ralph A. “Jack” Randolph

Ralph A. “Jack” Randolph, of Lambertville, NJ, died on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park, NJ. He was 83 years old.

Known to all as Jack, he was a lifelong Lambertville resident. A skilled craftsman, Jack co-owned Randolph Brothers Trucking in Lambertville for 15 years. He later worked as a construction project manager for Penn Valley Construction in Morrisville. Rarely idle Jack continued after his retirement as an independent handyman, always ready to assist where needed. In his community he served for 12 years on the Lambertville City Planning Board and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He was a gifted woodworker, enjoyed fishing and was an avid supporter of the Lambertville Little League. Jack was a veteran of the US Army and served in post war Germany.

Jack was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Joan Corrigan Randolph; his son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Georgia Randolph of Newtown, PA; his grandson Jack Randolph; his sister Lillian Snyder; his sister-in-law Joan Randolph; his brothers Larry and Robert Randolph and many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents Ralph A. Randolph and Bessie Elizabeth Randolph; his sister Annette and his brothers Ronald, Bernard, Roland and Burnett Randolph.

Committal services with military honors will be held at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:30 am.

Attendees may gather at the cemetery office prior to services.

Memorial donations in Jack’s memory may be made to the Animal Alliance of Lambertville, 1432 Route 179, Lambertville, NJ 08530.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.
