Quakertown Borough presents the fifth annual Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto Group, featuring six concerts throughout the summer.
Hard rock bands Queensrÿche and Great White will take the Univest Performance Center Stage in Quakertown on Friday, July 15.
Tickets are available at QuakertownEvents.com beginning at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17. Both reserved seating and lawn tickets are available online. Tickets start at $35 for lawn seating and reserved seats range from $45 to $110 depending on the seat location.
The Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto features a variety of artists from country, classic rock, pop, and more.
Queensrÿche and Great White will join the already announced Happy Together Tour (June 15), multi-platinum country music star Scotty McCreery (July 8), country legends Rodney Atkins and Diamond Rio (Aug. 20), and Philadelphia rock band The Hooters (Aug. 26). More concerts are expected to be announced in the following weeks.
Queensrÿche first burst onto the music scene in 1982 with the release of the band’s self-titled four-song EP “Queensrÿche.” With the release of “Empire” in 1991, the band earned multiple Grammy Award nominations and won the MTV “viewers choice” award for the #1 chart topping hit “Silent Lucidity.”
With songs including Grammy-nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” as well as “Rock Me,” “Mista Bone,” “Save Your Love,” “House of Broken Love,” and “Lady Red Light,” Great White has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, has six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard albums, two platinum albums, and clocked the top of MTV four times. The band took on its third frontman in 2018.
