Quakertown Business and Professional Women’s group supports Keystone Human Services

The Quakertown Business and Professional Women’s Organization is supporting the 2023-24 BPW/PA Project called Keystone Human Services.

The members recently heard from David Kunicki, Keystone’s director of intellectual disability services. He said they provide services on five different levels.

Keystone Human Services is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services and support for individuals throughout Pennsylvania with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other related conditions. It offers programs that encourage house stability, job opportunities, technical assistance and service dogs.

The co-presidents, Linda Moskal and Jeanne Schlicher, presented Kunicki with a check for $1,500 as a donation from the local organization.

It was noted that the Quakertown BPW received the distinguished Eleanor Knoke Award as the most outstanding club in District Eleven at its Fall District Meeting. District Eleven is comprised of Central Montgomery County, Greater Conshohocken, Quakertown, Souderton Telford and Upper Perkiomen. It is based on leadership on the local, district and state levels, participation in BPW events, and helping community outreach groups with time and funds.

The Quakertown Business and Professional Women’s Club meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at John’s Plain & Fancy Diner, Route 309, Quakertown. Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. Contact Linda Moskal, co-president, for information, at 215-536-1325.
