Psychologist to discuss teens and stress in Sellersville

Posted

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Penn Foundation will host its annual Dr. Michael Peters Lecture Series featuring Dr. Michael Bradley, clinical psychologist and leading expert on adolescent behavior, 8:45 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7.

Bradley’s presentation is titled “Crazy Stressed: Saving Today’s Teens with Love, Laughter, and the Science of Resilience.”

Bradley, a Doylestown-based clinical psychologist, is an award-winning author and leading expert on adolescent behavior and parenting. In 2017, Bradley published his book, “Crazy Stressed: Saving Today’s Overwhelmed Teens with Love, Laughter, and the Science of Resilience.”

Bradley has worked with children, adolescents, and their families in treatment settings ranging from jails, to social service agencies, to private practice. His professional experience with children encompasses virtually every aspect of youth work.

The Dr. Michael Peters Lecture Series is a community-based educational program that brings national experts on behavioral health to Penn Foundation. The series is named for Grand View Hospital’s chief of medicine (1947-1972), who was instrumental to the founding of Penn Foundation in 1955.

The event will take place inside Penn Foundation’s Loux Healthcare Center, Univest Community Room, 807 Lawn Ave., Sellersville.
