Police presence today in Centennial schools after call about potential threat

Warminster and Upper Southampton police have a presence at all Centennial Schools today, following an anonymous phone call about a possible threat.

Warminster Police said they were contacted by Centennial School District Administration Thursday evening in reference to a phone call the district received from an anonymous person on a blocked phone number.

The anonymous person told administration staff that a student received communication of a potential threat to William Tennent High School for today (Friday, April 21). The incident was directed to WTHS only.

Warminster Police are actively investigating any information received around this incident. However, out of an abundance of caution Warminster and Upper Southampton police have a presence at all Centennial Schools today.

Warminster and Southampton police take any and all incidents surrounding local children and schools very seriously and are looking for the public’s help in this situation. If anyone has information about this incident police ask you to call 911 immediately.
