Point Pleasant Baptist Church hosts Easter events


Point Pleasant Community Baptist Church members invited the public to join in at 4 p.m. Friday, April 12, for the annual Point Pleasant Cemetery Clean-up.

In preparation for the Easter Sunrise Service, tombstones will be reset and leaves and debris will be removed. Refreshments will be provided.

Come to the church on Palm Sunday, April 14, after the 10:30 a.m. worship service for the annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. All children from the community are invited to participate in crafts and the traditional hunting for eggs. Bring a basket.

Easter Sunday, April 21, will begin with a Sunrise Service at Point Pleasant Cemetery, one quarter-mile north of the church on Cafferty Road. The service will begin at 6:30 a.m. After Scripture readings and the singing of hymns at the cemetery, the community is invited to Easter breakfast at the church. The Easter Worship Service will be at 10:30 a.m.

All are invited to attend worship services and participate in all activities. The church is located at 35 River Road in Point Pleasant (for GPS, use Pipersville).
