UrbanPromise Trenton will host its 7th annual RiseUPTrenton Banquet at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J., on Thursday. April 25.
The featured keynote speaker will be Ted Winsley, Sr., chaplain to the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, who will share stories about his 17 years with the team and insight into how he helped the players turn adversity into a world championship.
Since 2001, when Pro Bowler Troy Vincent was an Eagle, Winsley has helped numerous Eagles players live out their faith. He has seen players that have had it all, yet it was still not enough. Pastor Ted will share his insight into how these superstar players changed their lives and, in the process, turned an average football franchise into first-time Super Bowl Champions.
Winsley was there in the huddle when the Eagles took the field and will share what he told the players before the big game, showing them that they were part of something much larger than themselves.
The evening will raise funds to support the programs of UrbanPromise Trenton, including its free SummerCamp and StreetLeader programs.
A limited number of tickets are available for a special VIP Meet and Greet cocktail hour with Winsley, beginning at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are $150, and tickets for the event beginning at 7 p.m. are $100 per person. Visit
