Pet sitting facility for small breed dogs opens in New Hope

A Place 4 Pups, an indoor play and pet sitting facility for small breed dogs, has opened in New Hope.
A Place 4 Pups was created to provide peace of mind to owners of small breed dogs, who are starting to get back to work and life’s activities.
“Pet owners of small breed dogs, have expressed that they are putting off going to medical appointments, getting their hair done, running errands and even going back to work full-time because their dog is demonstrating behaviors of separation anxiety after having spent so much time with them over the past 12-plus months during the COVID 19 pandemic. We have also listened to many pet owners across the board, say that their dog is excessively barking while they are taking and making work phone calls from home,” said Candice Huddy, spokesperson for A Place 4 Pups.
The mission of A Place 4 Pups is to reduce the stress and anxiety that pet owners of small dog breeds 25 pounds and under, may be experiencing by providing a small location based facility that focuses on enriched indoor play, socialization and hourly or afternoon pet sitting services.

“This is not a doggie daycare. In fact, as a pet owner, I know firsthand how dog daycare facilities throughout Bucks County are booked six to 12 months in advance. A Place 4 Pups is designed to be a safe, small and fun “at home” type of environment for small breed dogs under 25 pounds to be cared for and to socialize in hourly or for the afternoon; all so their owners can accomplish necessary tasks and appointments,” added Huddy.
A Place 4 Pups features soft climbers, window seats, views of nature, plush toys and clear dividers for designated rest and play areas and anti-microbial floors.
A Place 4 Pups is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Logan Square, 15 Village Square, New Hope.
