Perkasie resident performs with Pride of the Valley

Katelyn Keller of Perkasie is one of 120 students participating with Lebanon Valley College’s Pride of the Valley Marching Band this year.
Keller, a graduate of Pennridge High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in music education.
The Pride of the Valley Marching Band incldes music and nonmusic majors representing almost every academic program on campus.

This year’s show, The Art of Movement, will feature the music: “Intensity” by Marty McCart, “Spellbound Concerto” by Miklos Rozsa, “Desi” by Michael Daugherty, “A Night in Tunisia” by John “Dizzy” Gillespie, and “Bells of Avalon” by Jeurgen Herbarth.
The Pride is under the direction of Dr. Christopher J. Heffner, associate professor of music.
