Posted

William Gaenssle, a Pennridge senior in the Welding and Fabrication Technology program, has been named Student of the Month for December at the Upper Bucks County Technical School.
He is the son of Anne and David Gaenssle.
William Gaenssle was nominated by his instructor, Mr. Kosak, for consistently displaying outstanding performance in his Welding & Fabrication program and at his worksite. Kosak also nominated Gaenssle for November’s Word of the Month respect, an essential workplace readiness skill needed for success in the workplace.

Gaenssle has earned his 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA safety certifications. He also utilizes his technical area career-readiness skills at Heritage Fence in Skippack, where he’s employed as a welder.
In his free time, Gaenssle enjoys working on cars and riding dirtbikes.
After graduation, he hopes to continue his welding career at Triangle Technical School in Bethlehem.
