Pennridge holding health and wellness event

Posted

The Pennridge Community Partnership will hold three educational presentations on topics that impact parents and community members this winter and spring.
The second presentation runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 27. Dr. Dale Bautista, a sports medicine physician at Grand View Health, will discuss “Health and Wellness Through Movement: The Effects the Pandemic had on our Physical Well-being.”
Bautista specializes in non-surgical treatment of a variety of acute and chronic injuries and conditions. In addition to the presentation, vendors from throughout the community will demonstrate, discuss and promote good nutrition, exercise, and mental health practices. Find a full list of vendors at the partnership’s website.

The free event will be held in Pennridge High School’s Green Gym and is open to all community members. The entrance to the Green Gym is located behind the natatorium. Follow signs for the athletic entrance and parking. Masks are required. All events will have childcare available for school-aged children.
The third presentation of 2022 will be held on April 28.
