Pennridge boys lacrosse falls to Wissahickon

With 1:14 left in regulation Tuesday night, Wissahickon broke a 9-all tie to edge Pennridge and move on in the District One 3A boys lacrosse tournament.

With the 10-9 road win, No. 6 Wissahickon secured a state berth and advanced to the district semifinals. The third seed in the tournament, Pennridge still has a chance to punch its ticket to states in playbacks, which begin Thursday when the Rams take on No. 10 Conestoga.

Six 3A teams will advance to the PIAA tournament.
