Penn State Master Gardeners Plant Sale set

The Penn State Master Gardeners of Bucks County will hold their 20th annual Plant Sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at their new location on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park Road, Newtown, rain or shine.

The sale offers annuals, perennials, rare woodies, Master Gardener grown plants, herbs and vegetables including heirloom types, butterfly/pollinator plants, shade plants, deer-resistant plants, indoor plants, container-sized plants and hanging baskets for Mother’s Day.

Native plants and shrubs are offered through the Penn State Master Watershed Stewards of Bucks County. Over 50 Master Gardeners are available to answer questions and help with selection.

Bring a wagon or cart. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. For information, call 267-483-2020. Proceeds benefit the educational outreach of the Penn State Master Gardener program and Penn State Master Watershed Steward program of Bucks County.
