Penn Community Bank announced this spring that Dorothy Jaworski, director of treasury and risk management, has been named president of the Financial Managers Society (FMS) Philadelphia Chapter, while assistant treasurer and investment officer Christopher Carroll has been named the organization’s treasurer.
Founded in 1951, the Philadelphia Chapter of the Financial Managers Society is a nonprofit organization that works to educate and connect financial professionals from local community banks and companies that support them.
The chapter sponsors educational events that offer CPE credits, co-sponsors women’s networking events, and grant scholarships to outstanding students heading to college. Both Jaworski and Carroll previously served in officer roles with the organization.
