Peddler’s Village is preparing for a lineup of 2022 events that kick off in March with an annual competition and display: PEEPS in the Village.
Now in its third year, the spring-themed event has included nearly 100 marshmallow masterpieces in prior years, all submitted by individuals and organizations.
Peddler’s Village has issued a call to the public for entries; online registration is open through March 2 at peddlersvillage.com. Participation in the contest is free, as is admission to the display. Participants must deliver their entries to Peddler’s Village on March 6 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
PEEPS in the Village will be on view March 11 through April 24. Using the Peddler’s Village mobile app, attendees are invited to vote on their favorite creations in three categories: diorama, sculpture and 2D wall art. Voting will take place March 11 through April 1, with winners announced on April 5. Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second, third, fourth and fifth place in each category, as well as to two honorable mentions.
