Peddler’s Village in Lahaska will present new outdoor Murder Mystery Walking Tours starting Saturday, Aug. 8.
The new fresh-air format has been designed to accommodate current guest preferences and recently issued state limitations on indoor gatherings.
Murder Mystery Walking Tours are currently planned for 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. every Saturday night through Sept. 26. Due to high demand, an 8 p.m. event has been added to opening night on Aug. 8.
Tickets are $25 and include a 10% dining discount on the day of the event at Earl’s New American, Buttonwood Grill, Cock ‘n Bull, and Hart’s Tavern. Walking tours will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. For tickets and details, visit Peddlers Village online.
The events are presented in partnership with Without a Cue Productions, based in Bensalem. While presenting the events, Peddler’s Village and Without a Cue will adhere to all state and local safety requirements, including: asking guests and employees who feel ill to refrain from participating; asking all guests to wear masks; limiting attendance to 20 people per tour; and encouraging social distancing throughout the event. The event is appropriate for all ages.
“There’s a lot of excitement about this new outdoor event, which is designed to bring smiles and entertainment at a time when we need it the most,” said Christine Hensel Triantos, director of marketing and communications at Peddler’s Village.
Instead of presenting the annual Peach Festival in August, Peddler’s Village has deemed this month to be Peach Month, and is offering peach-themed food and drink specials every day in its restaurants, all of which have outdoor dining as well as indoor dining. An outdoor Water Wheel Food Tent is open on Saturdays and Sundays.
