Patricia Anne Stover “Patti”


Patricia Anne Stover “Patti” of Perkasie, PA passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was 66.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Margaret (Allen) Iannucci, she resided in Mechanicsville, PA before moving to Perkasie, PA in 1982.

Patti received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College and a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from La Salle University.

Patti spent the entire 47 years of her Nursing career at Doylestown Hospital. She rose from a Candy Striper to the position of Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer. She made a tremendous positive impact on the entire organization and was well respected by all who knew her.

Patti enjoyed gardening, Philly Sports – Eagles and Phillies, antiquing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She was the beloved wife of 41 years to John P. Stover; devoted mother of Jaime Smetana and husband Erik, Jill Springer and husband Andy; dear sister of Diane Rother and husband Karl, Amy Truluck and husband Barry, Jodi Rucker and husband Nick; loving grandmother of Jaxen and Palmer Smetana, Theo and Oliver Springer; cherished aunt of Sam, Abby, Megan, Colin, Brielle, Nicholas, Andrew, Fallyn, Thomas and Ashley.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Hubbard Auditorium at Children’s Village on the Doylestown Hospital campus, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon with a final farewell beginning at 12 Noon.
