PA Center for Photography showcases Transformations

The Pennsylvania Center for Photography presents the 4th annual “Transformations” exhibition, a juried, photographic exploration of the imagination.

The show opens Nov. 1, with a public reception from 6 to 8 p.m. and runs through Nov. 17, at 181 E. Court St. Doylestown.

The exhibition was conceived and is designed to be a showcase for the exceptional imagery being created by innovative photographers who go beyond traditional techniques. “The only limits are the imaginations of the photographers, which makes for a very unique show.”

“Transformations” is comprised of both a print exhibition and two digital exhibitions shown on large screen digital displays. Over 250 images will be presented, and they are as diverse as the photographers who created them.

This year’s entries come from 26 states, which are competing with strong showings from Canada and Europe.

Gallery hours during the show are 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays (except opening night 6 to 8 p.m.), noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays, as well as by special arrangement. Admission is free to both the opening reception and the gallery.
