Noteworthy Business Briefs for Oct. 6

Real estate investment firm  First National Realty Partners, announced the addition of Richland Marketplace in Quakertown to its rapidly expanding, grocery-anchored shopping center portfolio.

The 162,000-square-foot asset marks the nationally focused, Red Bank, N.J.-based firm’s sixth purchase in Pennsylvania.  

The center is anchored by a 17,000-square-foot Aldi grocery store. A tenant at the site since it was constructed in 2009, Aldi is a privately owned, German-based discount supermarket. Richland Marketplace’s tenant roster also features a strong mix of national retailers, including Best Buy, PetSmart, Planet Fitness, Staples, Ulta, Visionworks, Sally Beauty, and Skechers. A total of 11,400 square feet of available space remains.

Jeff Macdonell, sales leader of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS Yardley-Newtown Home Marketing Center, welcomed Nick Gordon as a sales associate.

“I joined BHHS Fox & Roach because everyone is very welcoming and the company has a great training program,” said Gordon, who resides in Holland and he serves Bucks County.

Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, (MGKF), an environmental, energy, land use law and litigation firm based just outside of Philadelphia, announce that Brielle A. Brown and Alice F. Douglas have joined the firm this month.

Brown will focus on regulatory and transactional matters while Douglas will be part of the litigation team.

Douglas came to the firm after serving as a law clerk to Judge Robert O. Baldi in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. She graduated cum laude from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she received a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and completed a concentration in litigation and dispute resolution.

Brown was a summer associate of the firm in 2020 and 2021. She graduated on the Dean’s List from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law where she won the award for Outstanding Achievement in a Clinical Setting.

Melissa “Missy” Boyd and Elizabeth “Liz” Early announce the formation of their new law firm, Boyd & Early Family Law, a boutique, full-service family law firm located in Plymouth Meeting and Malvern.

They are eager to continue to service Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, Delaware and Philadelphia county residents involved in a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody, support, and protection from abuse (PFA) actions.

Boyd, a former owner and partner, and Early, a former partner, of High Swartz have been colleagues and friends for seven years.

They will be joined by attorneys Jennifer “Jen” Ryan and Chelsey Christiansen.
