Nockamixon’s Ganizewski resigns from board of supervisors

The Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors has accepted the resignation of Frank Ganiszewski, who was elected to a second six-year term last November. Noting the resignation letter at the board’s July 16 public meeting, Supervisor Chair Bill Sadow said that Ganiszewski was moving to South Carolina.

Township Solicitor Ernest R. “Bucky” Closser III of Curtin & Heefner said that supervisors had 30 days from the date of acceptance of the resignation to appoint an interim replacement for the seat on the five-person board, to serve at least until the next supervisors election in 2022.

Sadow also noted that he hoped to see another Nockamixon representative added to the board of the Upper Bucks Regional EMS (UBREMS), with legal or financial background a plus.
