Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman and Bucks County native Justin Pugh hosted the fifth annual Pugh Crew Summer Kickoff presented by Conair Man June 8 at Council Rock High School North in Newtown.
The camp provided local youth ages 8 to 14 with the opportunity to improve their technical football skills and teamwork while building sportsmanship and self-esteem both on and off the field. Each participant received a camp T-shirt, lunch and refreshments.
“I look forward to the Pugh Crew Summer Kickoff every year,” said Pugh, a Council Rock High School South alumnus. “Each summer my family and I try to make it bigger and better for the kids and year five did not disappoint. We hosted over 200 8- to 14-year-olds today and I’m already counting down to 2020. A huge thanks to everyone who helped make this year such a success – Conair Man, USA Football, NFL Foundation, NFLPA, Arizona Cardinals, The Green Parrot, Rita’s Italian Ice Richboro and Robert Irvine.”
