New Republican state representatives from Bucks County took the oath of office on New Year’s Day in Harrisburg.
Rep. Meghan Schroeder is now the representative the 29th Legislative District in Bucks County.
She worked as a legislative aide and office manager for 10 years for former Rep. Bernie O’Neill. Her district office is located at 755 York Road, Suite 105, in Warminster.
Wendi Thomas was sworn in to her first term to serve the people of the 178th District.
Thomas began serving as a volunteer in her local parent-teacher organizations that led to her being named to the Council Rock School Board where she was re-elected three times. While on the school board, she was president and vice president, and served as the chair of the finance and academic standards committees.
Todd Polinchock was sworn in to his first term to serve the 144th District. Polinchock graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1985. Before retiring after 20 years of service, he flew more than 75 combat hours over Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. Upon retirement, he gave up his aircraft for a desk to pursue his love for real estate.
