New Hope Winery welcomes “American Idol” contestant Leah Marlene

Indie-pop singer-songwriter and “American Idol” season 20 contestant Leah Marlene debuts her new single, “Feel Like,” at New Hope Winery May 13.

The third-place “American Idol” finisher is on tour with her band, to support the new single, co-written with Nashville veterans Megan Redmond and Brett Truitt, due out May 12.

Leah Marlene (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano) is joined by her band that includes: Matthew Pittman (lead electric guitar), Cory Hale Williams (drums, harmony vocals), and Derry Grehan, Leah’s dad (bass, harmony vocals), a Canadian guitarist best known as a member of the rock band Honeymoon Suite.

She already has two self-produced albums, “The Space Between” and “Many Colors,” as well as an EP, “Arrow,” and several singles to her credit. She’s currently at work on her first post-“Idol” album.
