New Hope-Solebury High School just completed a successful performance tour to Italy with Peak Performance Tours.
The group spent two days in each city of Rome, Florence and Venice sightseeing and performing for locals. Peak Performance Tours coordinated all the transportation, meals, performances, sightseeing and accommodations for 134 students and 53 chaperones.
Their performances included: New Hope-Solebury choirs singing at St. Peter’s Basilica; New Hope-Solebury Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble concert at Oratorio Caravita, Roma; New Hope-Solebury Orchestra and Choir concert at the Chiesa di Ognissanti, Firenze; New Hope-Solebury Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band concert Conservatorium Livorno, Livorno; New Hope-Solebury String Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band concert at Teatro Aurora in Campodarsego as part of the International Music Meeting 2019 – XXIX edition.
The singers and musicians performed under the direction of Tom Bateman, choir; Nick Wehr, orchestra; and David Bachart, wind ensemble and jazz band.
