New Hope-Lambertville Winter Festival canceled

Posted
The Board of Directors of Twin Rivertown Projects, Inc. said it has decided not to hold its annual Winter Festival for January 2021 because of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding large gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“After careful, diligent, and thoughtful consideration, and out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our community – including artists, fans, vendors, local businesses, participants and volunteers – our annual Winter Festival will not take place in 2021. Instead, we are planning for a spectacular and safe return in January 2022,” said a message from the board.

“We simply cannot in good conscience proceed at this time, given the multiple levels of risk and uncertainty that the immediate future presents for our community.

“We sincerely appreciate the tremendous support from everyone over the past years.Your generosity and donations of time, goods and services has enabled us to donate over $578,000 to our local community nonprofit organizations.

“During this time, we are actively seeking interested community members to serve on our Board of Directors to help with planning and creating some exciting ideas about how to keep the spirit of Winter Festival alive for 2022.

“Please email us at info@winterfestival.net if you wish to join this effort. We need your help in all areas - ticketing, public relations, website management - just to name a few.
