New Hope Eagle Fire Company set to launch drone program

Posted

The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company has scheduled a community awareness event to share information about its new Public Safety Drone Program.

The public is invited to the fire station from noon to 4 p.m. May 20.

The event will feature live drone demonstrations by specially trained drone pilots. Guests will witness firsthand the capabilities of these state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles as they take to the sky to demonstrate how drones can enhance emergency response situations.

The New Hope Eagle Fire Company event is part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and public safety.

The community is invited to ask questions and learn more about the knowledge and training required to join the Public Safety Drone Program as a pilot or in other supportive roles.

The drone community awareness event is free, will occur rain or shine, and is open to the public. Families are encouraged to attend. Guests must observe all posted safety guidelines.

The firehouse is located at 46 N. Sugan Road, New Hope, PA 18938.
