Neshaminy Creek wins gold for international lager

Posted

Pennsylvania is now home to the best international lager.

Bucks County’s Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company was awarded Gold for its Warehouse Lager at the recent 2022 World Beer Cup, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding brewers and their beers, by the Brewers Association.

Warehouse Lager (4.5%), a Keystone Beer at Neshaminy Creek and part of the company’s year-round core lineup, took first place out of 231 entries in the International Pilsener or International Lager category. It’s available in cans and on draft at Neshaminy Creek’s taprooms in Croydon, New Hope, and Dublin, as well as at bottle shops.

The largest competition to date, included 10,542 entries from 2,493 breweries representing 57 countries. Entries were evaluated by an elite panel of 226 judges from 28 countries.

“As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year, it’s an unbelievable honor to take home the top prize in the fifth most competitive category at the World Beer Cup,” said Head Brewer Jason Ranck.
