The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) will induct 21 new student members and one honorary member on April 25.
The mission of the NTHS is to honor student achievement and leadership in career and technical education, promote educational excellence, award scholarships and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership.
To qualify for nomination at MBIT, students must be nominated by a professional staff member, maintain an “A” average in his/her technical area, maintain a 3.4 average or better in all academic areas, be a 200 level student or higher, exhibit good character and leadership, have a discipline record with no detentions or suspensions throughout previous and current school years, plan to pursue a career or college major in their technical field of study, and have demonstrated community service experiences.
The students who will be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society include:
