Music Mountain Theatre stages “Guys and Dolls”

Music Mountain Theatre presents the musical comedy classic “Guys and Dolls.”

The award-winning classic gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway.

“Guys and Dolls” ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. It won a bevy of awards, including Tony awards, Drama Desk awards and Oliviers. It has had many Broadway and London revivals, as well as a 1955 film adaptation.

Newcomers to Music Mountain Theatre Lee Damon and Jennie McViven play Sky Masterson and Adelaide. Resident Company member Libby Kane portrays Sarah Brown, and Patrick Lavery is Nathan Detroit.

The show is directed by Louis Palena and choreographed along with Jordan Brennan. Costumes by Jordan Brennan and Denise Carr complete the production.

Performances run from March 15 through March 24 at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
