Music Mountain Theatre rings in year with comedy

Posted

Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, N.J., is ringing in the new year with a fast-moving comedy, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged),” which continues through Jan. 13.

An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)” was London’s longest-running comedy, having clocked nine years in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre.

Join the madcap men in tights as they weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories and tragedies in one wild ride.

Starring in the production are: Louis Palena, Jordan Brennan and Eddie Honan. Palena most recently starred as The Old Man in “A Christmas Story,” Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Show” and Lt. Cioffi in “Curtains.”

Brennan has appeared in “A Christmas Carol,’ “A Christmas Story,” “The Rocky Horror Show” and “Curtains,” and also serves as choreographer and costume designer.

Honan was last seen as Fezziwig in “A Christmas Carol,” Eddie in “The Rocky Horror Show” and Oscar in “Curtains.”

Performances run Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students at musicmountaintheatre.org or 609-397-3337.
