Monique Sarkessian offers infusion of color at New Hope Art League

Join the New Hope Art League for its meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at its new meeting location – New Hope Solebury High School (Library), 180 W. Bridge St., New Hope.

Take the west entrance to the main entry. Meetings are free and open to the public.

Monique Sarkessian is an exuberant, prolific, expressionistic painter of the world. Her paintings have a “juicy richness of color and luxurious application and spiritual heart that make her works unique.” Monique will talk about her artwork and give a painting demonstration – creating an abstracted floral still life in oils.

Her work has been shown and honored with awards at numerous exhibitions across the U.S., including two museums and several universities. Sarkessian has also painted and exhibited in France and Italy, and in many national plein air events and competitions. Her work can be seen in galleries around the Philadelphia area, as well as her website, Monique Sarkessian Art.
