The Milford Merchants Association will once again sponsor “Milford Alive,” a free community celebration in the New Jersey river town, from noon to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21.
Following are the featured events: puppet shows, artists selling original work, food trucks, arts, crafts and service vendors, face painting, Milford Historical Society, antique cars, caricature drawings, the 5th Pennsylvania Regiment, Revolutionary War living historians, Millie the train offering rides, 37th annual Bed Races, Eyes of the Wild, Mummers, Pass it on Art Quilters, moon bounce, tubs of fun, cheerleaders, fireworks at dusk, and more.
Additionally, the following bands will provide music from 12:15 until 8:30 p.m. on the Main stage located at the Presbyterian Church parking lot at the intersection of Water Street (Route 519) and Bridge Street: Craig Sailer Project, Clouds in My Coffee, The New Road Band, Fat Daddies, and Zaire.
Gary Reed will be performing on the second stage located on Bridge Street.
Parking will be available at the Water Works building at the intersection of York and Water streets (Route 519), and shuttle service will be provided from the Grace Fellowship Church parking lot. Admission is free.
