“A Different Look,” an exhibition of recent oil paintings by Mike Mann, is now on display in the Red Room of Karla’s Restaurant, 5 W. Mechanic St., New Hope.
The show is local scenes and landscapes painted in and around the surrounding area. Mann works most often from life and often can be seen working in town at his easel or riding his bicycle.
Mann considers himself to be a realistic impressionist and his works are filled with color and life.
“This is a wonderful area to be a plein air artist; I find so many wonderful places to paint and people around here are very welcoming to artists,” he said.
Karla’s is open noon to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, noon to midnight Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
