Varied artworks will be on display throughout the downtown area on Sept. 3. The week concludes with the gala Art Festival Sept. 7 and 8. JCarroll Molloy Realtor, Mann’s host, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 2 through 6; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7; and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8.
The 113-year-old stone building is located at 30 S. Main St. Doylestown. The artist will be there to meet and greet on the weekend.
Mann studied at the Art Students’ League in New York City, mostly under American illustrator, Steven R. (Joe) Kidd.
Mostly working from life, Mann uses an impressionistic\realistic style, seeking to capture color, and beauty. Most days he bicycles to paint local scenes.
However, he and his wife, Sandy, travel often and art supplies always go too. Inspired by the world around him, he especially loves painting outdoors – whether in the woods or on a busy street.
