What would have been the 72nd annual Middletown Grange Fair has been cancelled for 2020. The four-day fair was slated for mid-August.
“It is with great sadness that we must announce the cancellation of the 2020 Middletown Grange Fair. This was a devastating decision based on many factors, but primarily on community safety and fiscal responsibility. Without clear guidance from the government, we simply do not have the resources to continue to prepare for an event that may not safely or legally be permitted,” according to fair organizers.
The fair will be held next year at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds in Wrightstown Township from Aug. 18-22.
Many Bucks County families look forward to annual fair as a send-off to summer. It features carnival amusements, livestock demonstrations, 4-H projects, and agriculture contests, a tractor parade, food, live music, and lots of entertainment.
