Middle Bucks’ young philanthropists support Good Friends Inc.

Posted

The Philanthropy Today Club at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology this month awarded Good Friends Inc. a $2,000 grant.

Good Friends Inc. is a community-based residential drug and alcohol licensed treatment program for adult men that is located in Morrisville.

The Philanthropy Today Club looks for opportunities to help those struggling with issues related to mental health, sexual abuse and addiction.

Good Friends Inc. will use the grant, issued through the club’s partnership with The Norman Raab Foundation, to fund cosmetic renovations that will promote a warm, inviting and therapeutic environment.

The organization operates out of a centuries-old farmhouse on West Bridge Street in Morrisville. It has a 25-bed capacity.

The club formally presented the grant to the Good Friends organization on May 9 at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology.
