Middle Bucks Institute of Technology students bring home SkillsUSA medals

Students from various technical schools throughout Pennsylvania, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), competed in the 2024 SkillsUSA State Competitions held in Hershey.

MBIT had 41 competitors who earned a total of 16 medals: 10 gold medal winners, four silver medal winners and two bronze medal winners.

Gold medal winners were:

Addisyn Adams, Central Bucks South, Career Pathways Showcase - Human Services; Brianna Grumm, Central Bucks South, Career Pathways Showcase - Human Services; Brielle Zinn, Central Bucks West, Career Pathways Showcase - Human Services; Evgeny Ukraintsev, William Tennent, Cooperative Education Logbook; Allison Morey, Central Bucks South, Cosmetology 500; Robert Miernicki, Central Bucks West, Cybersecurity; Vuluan, Truong, Council Rock North, Cybersecurity; Charleigh Buckner, Central Bucks South, Occupational Health and Safety-Single; Cole Kleindienst, Central Bucks East; Occupational Health and Safety- Single; and Greg Milano, Archbishop Wood, Occupational Health and Safety-Single;

Silver medal winners were: Brian Daly, Central Bucks South, Digital Cinema Production; William Tantum, Central Bucks South, Digital Cinema Production; Barry Cleaver, William Tennent, Television (Video) Production; and Joseph Cronin, Central Bucks East; Television (Video) Production.

Taking home bronze medals were Luke Ryan, Central Bucks East, Carpentry; and Emma Hancock, Central Bucks West, Photography.

Eight of the gold medal winners will advance to the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Ga., in June.
