Throughout 2019, Doylestown Health will present a mental health series called “When Life Throws You Curveballs.”
This series will take participants through different stages in life, detailing critical points where mental health can become harder to maintain. Come learn what happens when life doesn’t go according to plan, how this affects mental health, and learn coping skills that enable you to live a full life in the midst of the troubles.
The second program in the bi-monthly series is “Helping Parents Manage the ‘Baby Blues’” on Thursday, March 7, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room J at Doylestown Hospital, 595 W. State St., Doylestown.
Postpartum comes with both joy and struggles, and if you are a new parent you may be aware of the helplessness or depression that both new moms and dads can sometimes feel. Join psychologist Pamela J. Ginsberg to learn how you can overcome anxiety and thrive in your role as a new parent, while not losing sight of yourself.
The program is free. Registration is requested online at
DoylestownHealth.org or by calling 215-345-2121.
