MBIT students win SkillsUSA medals

The 2019 SkillsUSA District 2 Competitions were held in January at North Montgomery County Technical High School.

Out of 45 competitions, Middle Bucks Institute of technology placed in 36 events.

There were 10 bronze medalists, 11 silver medalists, and 23 gold medalists. Some competitions are individual events, and others are team events.

The students earning gold medals will compete in the SkillsUSA State Competition held in Hershey, Pennsylvania in April.

MBIT’s SkillsUSA winners are:

– Bronze: Lydia Schneer, James Trucksess, Allison Swartz, Jacob Linch, Erika Yanes, Lyndsay French, Christopher Bayer, Ryan Hall, Lily Smulling and Sean Geary.

– Silver: Nalani McDonald, Evan Woodhead, Bradley Scannapieco, Derek Collier, Gavin Leh, Madison Swallow, Briana Bowen, Owen Quimby, Matthew Maier, Kylie Toth, and Anna Bromley

– Gold: Benjamin Salvador, Carly Prichett, Garrick Hill, Nicholas Sturgis, Juliana Cave, April Clark, Eric Spektor, Shane Heiland, Mattteo Scalfaro, Reagan McDonald, Patricia Shepard, Rilee Shookowsky, Nadya Yushkevich, Benjamin Jones, Vanessa Yanes, Eric VanHulst, Sydney Nunn, Charles Strange, Kyle Schneider, Michael Conricode, Wallace Krempa, Justin Colluro and Brandon Risich.
