MBIT slates adult evening courses

Posted

Interested in learning a new skill, increasing existing skills or having a fun and educational night out?

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology is offering evening courses for adults beginning in February.

Gain career skills with a course in medical insurance billing, dental assisting and oral radiology, or IT fundamentals. Get ahead with home improvement projects with landscape design, carpentry, plumbing, or small engine repair. Have fun and improve skills with professional cooking for the home chef, woodworking, digital animation, or video editing. Adults can also enroll in auto body repair, PA safety inspection, emissions inspection, electrical, eyelash extensions, and welding classes.

Students can master a new subject with online courses. MBIT offers two different online learning options: advanced career training or fundamentals courses. Advanced career training can assist in preparing an individual for a new career or a recognized industry certification. These courses offer a flexible way to learn with open enrollments. Each course also comes with a dedicated student advisor.

The fundamentals courses will assist with learning specific personal and/or professional skills. MBIT offer two options to learn the fundamentals courses: instructor-led courses or self-guided courses. In the instructor-led courses, they study over a six-week schedule and courses start monthly. For the independent learner, the self-paced courses provide access to all lessons immediately.

The spring session runs from Jan. 31 to Memorial Day, with classes beginning throughout the semester. To see the complete listing of course offerings, visit www.mbit.org.
