MBIT offers evening courses for adults starting in February

Posted

Interested in learning a new skill, increasing existing skills, or having a fun and educational night out?
Middle Bucks Institute of Technology is offering evening courses for adults.
Adults can enroll in courses such as small engine repair, dental assisting, and carpentry just to name a few offerings this spring. Computer-based classes now include CompTIA A+, Introduction to Microsoft Office, and Introduction to Excel. Enhance your skills with Cooking for the Home Chef, car enthusiasts can take Auto Body Repair, and tackle home projects with Plumbing and Electricity courses. New classes introduced this session include Residential Landscape and Hardscape Design, Desserts, and Cosmetology State Board Review.
If online learning is your goal, you can master a new subject with online courses. MBIT offers two different online learning options: Advanced Career Training or Fundamentals Courses. Advanced Career Training can assist in preparing for their new career or a recognized industry certification. These courses offer a flexible way to learn with open enrollments. Each course also comes with a dedicated Student Advisor. The Fundamentals Courses will assist with learning specific personal and/or professional skills. We offer two options to learn the Fundamentals Courses: instructor-led courses or self-guided courses. In our instructor-led courses, individuals study over a six-week schedule and courses start monthly. For the independent learner, our self-paced courses provide access to all lessons immediately.

Classes are scheduled to begin February. To see the complete listing of course offerings, visit mbit.org under the Adult Education.
