Inspired by the timeless melodies and clever lyrics of the great American songwriters Cole Porter, the Gershwins, and Rodgers and Hart, Cliff Eberhardt has created and performed passionate and witty music for four decades.
His songs have been recorded by Shawn Colvin, Richie Havens, Buffy Sainte-Marie, and the folk supergroup Cry Cry Cry. He is currently touring with John Gorka, Patty Larkin, and Lucy Kaplansky in the reunion of their famous "On A Winter's Night" show. He also writes commercial jingles, including the famous "Heartbeat of America" jingle for Chevrolet.
