Lorraine C. Aneskavich

Lorraine C. Aneskavich passed away Saturday October 2nd, 2021 at the Doylestown Hospital.

Born July 18th, 1931, Lorraine grew up in Mozart, Pa., and attended Mozart Elementary School and Buckingham High School. At the age of 20, she met the love of her life, Robert Aneskavich, at her grandparent’s farm in New Jersey. They were married on May 3rd, 1952 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

After settling in West Amwell on her husband’s family farmland, they created a very fulfilling life together, building 3 homes and raising 3 children for the next 65.5 years. She loved caring for her family; cooking delicious meals and making sure her homes were always warm, cozy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. She was a lifetime member of the West Amwell and Stockton Fire Companies Ladies Auxiliary and the West Amwell Wonders Senior Citizens group. Lorraine and Bob traveled extensively in the United States and Europe and she enjoyed spending time at the shore house.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her mother and father Anna and Paul Waclawek; sisters Doris Taraborrelli (Gene), Emily Molis (John), Mary Solana (Joseph), Irene Trauger (Richard); brother-in-law Edward Aneskewich (Margaret), Joseph Aneskavich (Julie), John Aneskewich and Michael Aneskewich; son-in-law John Randolph Ireland. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Aneskavich; sons Robert and Joseph Aneskavich, daughter Susan Aneskavich Ireland and daughter-in-law Sonja Aneskavich; grandchildren Lauren and Natalie Aneskavich, sister-in-laws Pauline Aneskewich and Mary Aneskewich; step-grandchildren Margaret Ireland and John Ireland; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews along with many lifelong friends who she loved dearly and filled her life with joy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday October 23rd, at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 44 Bridge St. Lambertville, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the West Amwell Fire Co., PO Box 379, Lambertville, NJ 08530 or the Stockton Fire Co., PO Box 47, Stockton, NJ 08559.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville.
