She loved animals, her beloved dog Dusty, and in her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding. With her husband George, she enjoyed traveling and she was known to have a green thumb. The holidays were some of her favorite times, family gatherings, Easter Egg Hunts for her grandchildren and Christmas became a magical season, her home decorated inside and out with the spirit and joy of Christmas, and most special were her Christmas cookies and baked goods, all made with love, which she shared with her family and neighbors.
