Frenchtown, N.J., Mayor Brad Myhre presented resolutions of thanks to two employees, at the Dec. 19 borough council meeting, praising their “professionalism and dedication.”
Jerry Case is retiring after working for the borough for 32 years, most recently as assistant sewer operator. He was thanked for his service on the planning board, and with the Frenchtown Cemetery Association, and praised for “his caring heart” and support of others.
Case said, “It’s been a joy working here,” in the town he grew up in.
Deputy Borough Clerk Daniele Lettig, who started as a part-time police department secretary 15 years ago, has served in other roles, too. She is now the tax collector in Lopatcong Township, although she continues working for Frenchtown part time.
