Living Hope Community Church of Dublin opening second campus in Doylestown

Posted

Living Hope Community Church in Dublin has announced the grand opening of its second campus in Doylestown.

This is the first step in Living Hope’s long-time goal of developing one church in multiple locations. The new campus location, formerly First Baptist Church of Doylestown, is located at 311 W. State St., Doylestown, and is scheduled to open as Living Hope - Doylestown Campus on March 5.

The first Sunday services at the new Living Hope - Doylestown Campus are scheduled to take place upon opening, at 9:30 and 11 a.m. March 5. Living Hope’s current services from its Dublin campus are available to stream online now at LivingHopePA.org. The new campus will also have its services streamed online upon opening. All are invited and welcome to attend.

After several years of discussion and prayer, the “Ripple of Hope,” or multi-campus model, was affirmed by both congregations via a vote on March 20. “One church in two locations” remains the vision behind Living Hope’s partnering with First Baptist of Doylestown to rebirth the former church as the second campus of Living Hope Community Church.

“We can’t wait to turn on the lights again in this historic Doylestown church. We look forward to connecting with the community in meaningful ways as another neighbor on State Street. Our new Doylestown pastor, Titus Buck, a resident of our community, has both ministry and corporate experience that makes him a great fit for this new role. We appreciate the rich heritage of the church and the important role Doylestown has as our county seat. We can’t wait to open this spring. We’re saving you a seat,” said the Rev. Eugene Miller, lead pastor.

Since the affirmation by the congregations, the Doylestown campus has begun its multi-phase construction process, including the current $1.75 million full renovation of the auditorium (sanctuary), the construction of a cafe, and the remodel of the main lobby spaces. These upgrades are being done with the intent of creating welcoming, relational environments for the purpose of discipleship. Living Hope’s “Ripple of Hope Campaign” has raised over 80% of the funds needed for the current phase of construction with the goal of completing the project without any debt.

Both campuses will offer groups for men, women, young adults, students, and a full Children’s Ministry during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services. Living Hope also announced that the Good Beginnings Preschool and Kindergarten on its campus will remain an important part of the church and community for years to come.

Titus Buck joined the Living Hope staff in 2022 and will be the new pastor at the Doylestown campus.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Living Hope team as pastor of the new Living Hope Doylestown campus. I would like to welcome all who are seeking or searching to come and experience a warm welcome and to encounter a message centered on the hope we have through Jesus Christ.”

Upon the grand opening of the Doylestown location, the two campuses will have the same name, Living Hope Community Church, but will be differentiated by their geographical location, Living Hope Community Church - Dublin Campus and Living Hope Community Church - Doylestown Campus.

Living Hope Community Church started in a Bucks County barn in 1997 and then met in a school gymnasium for 16 years before opening its first campus in Dublin on Dec. 22, 2013. The church currently has upwards of 1,500 guests in person and online.
