Posted

On Saturday, June 3, the Titusville Presbyterian Church presents Civil War era artists Libby Prison Minstrels for a two-hour musical concert from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Libby Prison Minstrels offer history and education through music and have entertained audiences since the early 1990s. They have programs of the Civil War era with a brief history behind a few of the songs written by Steven Foster, Dan Emmit, and a number of other period composers of the 19th century.

Their music programs include Americana, WWI and WWII, with popular tunes of wartime, and also period railroad and maritime songs. They specialize in patriotic tunes from the past and present that symbolize “our Great Nation.”

Tickets are $15 if pre-registered and $20 at the door. Family pricing is available. For information, call the church office at 609-737-1385 or visit www.titusvillechurch.org.

The First Presbyterian Church of Titusville, founded in 1838, is located at 48 River Drive along the banks of the Delaware River, in Tituville, N.J., one mile north of the Washington Crossing Bridge and six miles south of Lambertville, N.J.
