Dress to Impress, a benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, took place at Hotel du Village in New Hope Feb. 23.
The event was hosted by Caped CUREsaders, a team formed by Caleb Ferraez, a sophomore at New Hope-Solebury High School.
The LLS of Eastern Pennsylvania is hosting the annual Students of the Year Campaign, a seven-week fundraising competition between nominated high school students.
Every dollar counts as a vote, and the student or student group with the most votes, or money raised at the end of the seven-week period, ending March 9, is named Student(s) of the Year and will receive a $2,500 scholarship to the college or university of his or her choice.
Funds raised will be used toward LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
The second annual Cups for a Cause: Beer Pong Tournament at the GreenHouse, New Hope, takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28.
