Posted

Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is offering a free virtual workshop focused on the transition to adulthood for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual disabilities. The workshop will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on May 27 via Zoom.

The one-hour session, led by Sara Gabbianelli, LVF’s director of ID services, and Evan Salom, LVF’s assistant director of ID services, is focused on parents and caregivers of teens and young adults who are diagnosed with intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The workshop will address issues that affect individuals ages 14 to 21 by discussing how to prepare for life after graduation, including developing job and independent living skills. Funding options, eligibility requirements and available services will also be discussed.

The workshop is free, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and information. To register, visit lenapevf.org/freeworkshops.
