Lenape Valley Foundation spreads holiday cheer

Posted

Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) helped to make the holidays much brighter for those in need.

Through its annual Holiday Assistance Program, LVF distributed holiday gifts to more than 425 community members.

Cory Curtis, former resident of Souderton, served as volunteer chairperson of the initiative and has spearheaded the effort each year.

Individuals and companies were recruited to “adopt” individuals who were in need during the holiday season by purchasing gifts for them. Community members volunteered their time to wrap thousands of gifts in time for delivery before the holidays.

For 60 years, Lenape Valley Foundation has partnered with residents of Bucks County encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges, providing services to assist them in the pursuit of their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life.
